PROGRAM
We will host a dinner reception on Friday evening at the
Gedung Djene (in Sultan Palace area), where the Sultan of Yogyakarta and the
Minister for Tourism and Arts will welcome over seas visitors and open the
walking weekend. Dress is business dress and the wearing of walking medals is
encouraged.
Participants will be picked up at each hotel on Saturday
and Sunday morning to go to the Kaliurang
(start point) which is about 25km from Yogyakarta (only five appointed
hotels have this service).
We provide lunches on Saturday and Sunday at the Sultan
Bungalow in Kaliurang, by ticket only (cost $20US per person for 2 days).
On Sunday evening we will
arrange a farewell dinner party in Keraton Pakualaman for overseas participants,
delegates and invited guests. Dress is smart casual or Batik. Transport is
arranged.
